PAYMENT DEADLINE: June 28th, 2024

·      Full payment is required on or before the posted payment deadline. CC on file will be charged if no other arrangements have been made by that time.

·      Buyer’s Fee: An auction Buyer’s Fee of 10% on cash/check payments will be added to all high bids to determine the final selling price (an additional 3% handling fee will be added to the Buyer’s Fee for debit card/credit card payments, a total of 13%) 

·      Tax: Rafter T Auctions is responsible for collecting MN Tax for items sold in the state. The buyer’s fee is also taxable. Tax exempt buyers are required to provide proof of exemption.

·      Payment Methods: Cash, Good Checks, Credit/Debit Card

AUCTION TERMS and CONDITIONS

 

**This is an online only auction. By using our online platform, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. If you do not, please refrain from using our services.

Any reference to we, our or us in this Privacy Policy shall mean Rafter T Auctions LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Minnesota (USA).

·       You must provide accurate and complete information during the registration process. To participate in our online auctions, you must be at least 18 years old. 

·       All items sold AS IS, HOW IS, WHERE IS, no warranties or guarantees!

·       Neither Rafter T Auctions nor the seller gives any type of guarantee or warranty, implied or otherwise. There are no returns, refunds, or adjustments. Both the sellers and/or auctioneers reserve their right to withdraw any auction item at any time and/or change the auction duration without giving any notice. Items offered for auction are subject to final confirmation by the seller. 

·       The responsibility to determine the condition of the property rests with the bidder. Buyer should not rely strictly on photos to determine the quality or quantity of the exact items being sold. You are welcomed to come inspect items at our physical location, during office hours. All items offered for auction and their descriptions have been provided by the seller & compiled to assist the buyer. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of the item(s) is with the buyer and should the auction item(s) prove defective following the purchase, the buyer will assume the entire cost to rectify. Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect items and ask any questions prior to bidding.

·       Submitting/making a bid is a legally binding contract which requires full compliance by bidders/buyers of all Rafter T Auctions’ Online Auction Terms & Conditions as well as full payment by the final highest bidder, plus buyers' fees, per the terms listed herein.

·       Occasionally, our catalog must change during an active auction. We reserve the right to reject or remove any listing without providing a reason. 

·       Items sold at auction may be subject to a reserve price.

·       All bids placed on our website are final and non-retractable. Do not bid if you are unsure. Your bid is a contract to purchase.

 

REMOVAL TERMS: Full payment must be made before items will be released to buyer. Items must be removed by the posted removal deadline. Bidders are encouraged to determine pick-up availability with seller prior to bidding. 

·       All items must be removed/picked-up from the location specified, during posted hours or by appointment. It is the full responsibility of the buyer for all removal, dismantling, rigging, hauling, loading, and relocation costs. 

·       A $5 Per Day Storage Fee Applies on all items remaining after the posted removal deadline & must be paid prior to removal! Buyer is to arrange and pay for any and all shipping & removal costs and pay any fees, if necessary. 

·       Items not picked up within 10 days of the closing of the auction, will be considered “abandoned” and become property of Rafter T Auctions (unless other arrangements are discussed with us ahead of time).

·       Buyers who need items shipped must check with us PRIOR to bidding to make sure item is shippable. No international shipping available. Restocking charge may be applied if non-shippable items are won.

SHIPPING

 

·      Items that are available for shipping will be indicated as so in their description/listing.

·      Any questions about shipping/pricing should be handled BEFORE placing your bid.

·      Please contact us after the close of the auction to arrange for shipping (ask for Léa!):

o   Email  sales@rafterTauction.com

o   You have one week to arrange for shipping. After 7 days, the card on file for you WILL be charge the full amount of the original invoice.

·      We charge a minimum of $5 packaging fee for supplies and time, and the actual shipping charges. 

o   The packaging fee may increase due to the complexity of the packaging and the number of items being shipped. We will contact you in such cases.

·      We ship via USPS, FedEx, or UPS.

·      Please make sure your address is correct on your invoice. Unfortunately, if your package is returned to us, we will have to reship at your expense.

·      Please inform us ahead of time if you would like to add insurance to your shipping.

·      The card we have on file will be charged the shipping and handling fees.

Once you have “won” your item, it is your responsibility to contact us to arrange for shippingIf you do not arrange for shipping within a week of the auction closing, you will still be responsible for the total payment [of your invoice: your winning bid amount, the 10% buyer’s premium, and applicable taxes].
